Families and community leaders want to see a powerful inquiry into deaths in Canberra's jail, after two Aboriginal men died in prison custody within the same week.
Independent MLA Thomas Emerson will on Tuesday move a motion in the Legislative Assembly, calling on the government to launch a board of inquiry into the treatment of Aboriginal detainees.
