Community advocates and MLAs have slammed the ACT Government for using a letterbox drop to tick six actions off its strategic plan for Oaks Estate.
The unmarked envelopes contained pamphlets with information on how to report social housing maintenance and repair issues, responsible dog ownership, how to call the police, and how to submit Fix My Street reports.
Kurrajong MLAs Thomas Emerson (independent), Elizabeth Lee (Canberra Liberals) and Rebecca Vassarotti (ACT Greens) banded together to call out the lack of action to deliver real change for Oaks Estate residents.
“Sometimes it comes across like the development of the plan is the final product,” Mr Emerson said.
