The National Capital Authority has replaced dozens of light bulbs around Lake Burley Griffin in the four months since women's safety advocates raised concerns about poor lighting along the popular five-kilometre lake circuit.
Independent Member of the ACT Legislative Assembly Thomas Emerson, who said he was briefed by the NCA recently on the progress of their work, credited Ms Elms for her relentless advocacy on the issue.
