Join Thomas Emerson MLA and Running for Resilience for an evening of movement, community and conversation.
Kicking off at 6pm from The Dock in Kingston, we’ll start with the regular Wednesday R4R walk, jog, or run around Lake Burley Griffin - 15 minutes out and 15 minutes back, at whatever pace suits you.
At 7pm, we’ll head inside for a community forum in the pub about solutions to the mental health crisis.
Our guest speaker, Lili Mooney, will share a brief reflection on her personal experience with Running for Resilience and her perspective on mental wellbeing.
The panel discussion, moderated by Thomas Emerson MLA, will feature:
- Ben Alexander, Co-Founder of Running for Resilience
- Carrie-Ann Leeson, CEO of Lifeline Canberra
- Ben Gathercole, CEO of Menslink
There’ll be time for audience input and questions before we wrap up at 8.15pm.
All are welcome. Come for the walk/run, or not, but definitely stay for the conversation.
Looking forward to seeing you there!
